Founders

Regis Lazor and Dan Richason founded System 1-2-3 in 1995 as Lazor-Richason and Associates. Regis and Dan are the managing partners of System 1-2-3, LLC.

Regis Lazor has been a professor at California University of Pennsylvania for 33 years where he has been instrumental in establishing applied behavior analysis as the foundation philosophy of the special education department. Regis is very active working in a variety of community settings teaching teachers, parents and providers skills and strategies in working with persons who engage in challenging behavior. His professional interests promote the application of growth-oriented approaches in addressing challenging behavior.

Dan Richason has been working with families, educators, service providers and children for 15 years. He earned a masters degree in education and has been and adjunct faculty member at West Virginia University and Seton Hill University. He currently teaches for California University of Pennsylvania and is completing the final stage of his doctorate degree. Dan's professional focus is in designing and evaluating effective learning programs for people who work in education and human services. He has presented his work in this area at several conferences, including the International Conference on Problem-Based Learning, the International Division for Early Childhood Conference on Young Children with Special Needs and Their Families, and the American Educational Research Association Annual Conference.
